Our Neighborhood Events & Announcements page is a lively, central spot where residents stay in the loop on all the exciting and essential happenings right here in our community. It includes highlighting seasonal events like holiday celebrations (Fourth of July block parties with red-white-blue decorations, Halloween trick-or-treats, Christmas lights, Easter egg hunts, 4th of July Fireworks, or Thanksgiving celebrations), pool season milestones such as the official opening splash in late spring/summer and closing reminders in the fall. You’ll also find details on any planned block parties (summer kickoffs, end-of-school-year bashes), plus other fun gatherings like garage sales, movie nights under the stars, volunteer clean-ups, and more—alongside practical announcements for road work, utility notices, or community news.

Hemlock Gun Club – First Outing Recap

On Saturday, April 4th, a great group of Hemlock Gun Club (HGC) members gathered at Belton Gun Club for a fun morning of shooting. We spent time practicing with pistols on steel targets and rifles on paper targets.

It was an excellent day filled with safe firearm practice, friendly competition, and making memories with good neighbors!

Here are a few photos from the outing — featuring the guys, the girls, and some of the firearms we used.

As always, SAFETY remains our top priority with both the Hemlock Gun Club and Belton Gun Club.

Thanks to everyone who came out — looking forward to our next get-together!

2026 Happy Easter!

We hope everyone had a wonderful Easter celebration spending time in worship and with family or friends.

Here’s a few fun pic’s of the kiddo’s enjoying some egg hunt fun! If you want to share some photo’s please let me know!

2026 Ice & Snow

January 2026 – Over the past few weeks, our neighborhood was treated to two winter events that turned ordinary weekends into memorable icy and snowy adventures. First came the sleet storm over the weekend, which blanketed everything with 2 to 3 inches of crunchy sleet mixed with snow—perfect for building a slippery, glistening layer that crunched underfoot. Kids and adults alike grabbed sleds and raced down the big hill, laughing and cheering as the neighborhood came alive with joyful energy. A week later and another weekend brought 3 to 4 inches of pure, fluffy snow that transformed the landscape into a serene, sparkling wonderland—truly beautiful to behold. We were especially grateful that both events passed without power outages or any injuries; everyone stayed safe, had a wonderful time playing outside, and simply enjoyed the magical winter show right here in our community.

A Look Back at 2025 Events.

Hemlock Halloween 2025 (A Great Success!)

What a magical Halloween night in our neighborhood! The weather was perfectly crisp and clear, with a gentle autumn breeze that made the evening feel enchanting. Waves of excited trick-or-treaters flooded the streets, their delightful laughter rang out as they dashed from house to house. Creative costumes stole the show—superheroes, spooky ghosts, and whimsical creatures galore—while spectacular home decorations turned lawns, porches and driveways into a haunted wonderland, complete with glowing pumpkins, fog machines, monsters, and elaborate holiday displays. Even Mr. & Mrs. Santa made the scene! It was a night of pure fun and community spirit we’ll all remember!

Enjoy this look back!

Thanksgiving 2025!

As we gathered around tables with gratitude on Thanksgiving, I hope we all looked back on a year filled with neighbors helping neighbors, homes transformed by beautification ideas, neighbors enjoying conversations as we met on walks, and all those who reached out with help when we need it, be it lost pets, recommendations, or advice in general.

This was a year of celebrated birthdays, mourned losses, and looking forward to new beginnings. We watched our children grow a little taller, lives take a new direction and enjoyed the many blessings of a great neighborhood. These moments—big and small—are the quiet miracles that knit us together.

May we keep the blessings going as we begin this new year!
