Biblical Counseling (Coming Later in 2026)
Today there are so many who are struggling with anger, division, addictions, depression, and many of life’s issues that seem to be overwhelming and far beyond our control or our ability to overcome. Being equipped through biblical counseling enables believers to address life’s struggles (whether emotional pain, conflicts, anxiety, or sin) with the timeless, transforming truth of Scripture rather than merely subjective human wisdom.
It offers real hope by pointing people directly to Christ as the Wonderful Counselor, using God’s Word to bring instruction, conviction, comfort, healing, and lasting change.
Those who learn biblical counseling grow in wisdom, compassion, and discernment, becoming effective instruments of grace who can walk alongside others toward spiritual maturity and freedom in Jesus.
In each lesson we will explore Principles of Biblical Counseling and examine ourselves in the light of the word of God.
We will be utilizing a manual for in-depth biblical discipleship called “Self-Confrontation.” This manual is available on Amazon if you would like click the link and purchase a copy to follow along, (Recommended) or you can just follow the short lessons provided here. *NOTE, Please do not purchase until the lesson is published as the timing of this is still being determined.
The goal is not for this manual or lesson to equip and transform you but for them to be used as a tool to point you to the Word of God. (2nd Timothy 3:16 All Scripture is inspired by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, for training in righteousness; 17 so that the man of God may be adequate, equipped for every good work. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is living and active and sharper than any two-edged sword, and piercing as far as the division of soul and spirit, of both joints and marrow, and able to judge the thoughts and intentions of the heart.)
Lessons:
Why Self-Confrontation?
The term “Self-Confrontation” may seem to be saying “Self-Condemnation” but in this study we will learn that isn’t the case at all. In fact, Self-Confrontation must continue throughout your Christian walk if you are to avoid the hypocrisy of judging the failures of others without first examining your own life in a biblical manner (Matthew 7:1-5, Luke 6:41-42). Most importantly, self-confrontation must be achieved in accordance with the Word of God (2nd Timothy 3:16-17, Hebrews 4:12)
Confronting yourself in a biblical manner will often be difficult and will sometimes be a grievous experience. However the Holy Spirit, the Helper, will assist you (John 16:8,13-14) to face your own sins, failures, and short comings. Then He will assist you, teach you, and guide you into all truth so that your sorrow may be turned into everlasting joy (John 14:16, 26; 15:11).
If there is a single emphasis that underlines this training, it is for you to determine biblically whether you are seeking to please yourself, or seeking to please God in all you think and do (2nd Corinthians 5:9, Colossians 1:10; 3:3, 17). As you will soon discover, the objective of this course in personal discipleship and biblical counseling training is not to learn how to save your life but instead how to lose it for Jesus’ sake (Matthew 16:24-25, Luke 9:23-24) through the process of evaluating yourself biblically.
May God bless the truths of His Word to your life as you faithfully begin a lifelong process of biblical self-confrontation.
